Herald The Subconscious Mind

Subconscious Mind Has No Concept Of Magnitude

The Subconscious Mind is our connection to the Universal Mind. It’s where all the action is in terms of manifesting our deepest desires in the world without. And Haanel says in the Introduction to Master Key Part Twenty-OneIn paragraph 7 you will find that one of the secrets of success, one of the methods of organizing victory, one of the accomplishments of the Master Mind is to think big thoughts.

Large ideas tend to eliminate the smaller, insignificant and annoying obstacles, open your mind to the larger world of thought and puts one in a position to accomplish things of great value (Part Twenty-One -6).

The lesson is of course to not limit yourself as you establish your lifes goals and idealize your purpose (Part Twent-One -17). The bigger you think, the more of the unlimited power and resources of your subconscious mind will you enlist and marshal to your purpose.

The good news is that the power of the mind can be brought to bear on big ideas in the same way, and just as effectively, as that required to establish any new habit, however small… or large (Part Twenty-One -18). “There is no limit what this law can do for you.” (Part Twenty-One -19).

Training My Subconscious Mind

subconscious mind trainingOver the course of the past 5 months I have been engaged in training my mind to visualize my purpose, create in my mind the things I fervently desire to be, do and have, and in the process come to believe that my desires have already been fulfilled (Part Eleven -17 & 18). Constant, emotionally charged repetition of my Definite Major Purpose, reading the Scrolls in “The Greatest Salesman In The World” (Og Mandino), reading my Service Card, reading and contemplating my Plan of Action and a myriad permutations and combinations of these and other actions have become habitual.

I am half way there. My Plan of Action becomes clearer as I proceed. I am constantly reminded that “power comes through repose” and that “it is by concentration that deep thoughts, wise speech, and all forces of high potentiality are accomplished” (Part Twelve -25), and that you will be able to get into touch with the Omnipotent power of the subconscious mind in the Silence (Part Tweleve -26).

Permanent success of any kind comes only from within and it is only in absolute silence that one is able to “open for himself the channels by which persistent practice and concentration lead to perfection.” (Part Twelve -27).

The Silence is not easily attained. Haanel cautions that one must relax completely; all muscles, all nerves. There can be no tension. Trying to do mental work under pressure of any kind will do no good. But if you are able to enter the Silence, what you seek will come to you.

It may come in flashes of inspiration powered by intuition. Haanel says in Part Seventeen (23) that “Intuition arrives at conclusions without the aid of experience or memory. Intuition often solves problems that are beyond the grasp of the reasoning power. Intuition often comes with a suddenness that is startling; it reveals the truth for which we are searching, so directly that it seems to come from a higher power.

In Part Twenty-One (28) I read “Realize that the Silence offers an ever-available and almost unlimited opportunity for awakening the highest conception of Truth. Try to comprehend that Omnipotence itself is absolute silence, all else is change, activity, limitation. Silent thought concentration is therefore the true method of reaching, awakening, and then expressing the wonderful potential power of the world within.”

All of this has led me to fervently seek the Silence in my daily Sits, attempting to follow Haanel’s instructions. I realize I am listening for the “Heralds call”. I’m expecting something dramatic; a loud and colourful flash of something that will startle me and have me leap to action.

But I hear no Clarion’s Call….

The Subconscious Mind Delivers Quiet Whispers of Insight & Intuition

But then my insight and intuition kick in and come to my rescue. I recall that the intuition can be cultivated and developed with practice but it must be recognized and appreciated for this to happen (Part Seventeen -23). So the trick is to listen very carefully.

whispers in your subconscious mindThe inspiration may may come in the form of quiet whispers, easily dismissed as inconsequential or self evident. If these thoughts are recognized and given careful consideration, regardless of how quietly or dramatically they appear, you will be able to develop this intuitive power and reap it’s benefits.

This realization came to me this week in a couple of conversations with my Master Mind partner. I recalled that the thought which came to mind in one of my sits was that I should concentrate on the Super Traffic Machine and the Care Free Aging products, IOS and developing my recently sketched out business philosophy/strategy.

At first I relegated these thoughts to the “self evident” category because that’s what I was intending to do anyway. I suppose I was listening to my subconscious mind for something different. And then it occurred to me this need not be the case. What happened was confirmation I should proceed as planned and to develop more precise action plans for each of these things. They are what will drive me to attainment of the fundamental needs which drive my DMP.

A favourite author sums it up this way:

That’s what people call successful decision making that happens without a narrative.

Intuition isn’t guessing. It’s sophisticated pattern matching, honed over time.

Don’t dismiss intuition merely because it’s difficult to understand. You can get better at it by practicing.

Seth Godin

Hey I’ll take the Trumpet Calls if they come but I sure will pay attention to the loving whispers in my ear. The subconscious mind is an ever available and obedient servant. Just be careful of what you ask.
